The Jaguars are relatively healthy heading into their first AFC Championship appearance since 1999.
The lone Jaguar missing from Wednesday practice due to an injury was free safety Tashaun Gipson, who is dealing with a foot injury. Head coach Doug Marrone seemed optimistic about Gipson's chances of playing this week. If Gipson were to miss time against the Patriots the Jaguars would likely lean on Jarrod Wilson, who has performed admirably when his number has been called. Patrick Omameh also missed practice with an undisclosed illness. That Jaguars would like to have their starting left guard back for the biggest game in franchise history. Leonard Fournette, despite injuring his ankle in the Jaguars divisional round win against the Steelers, participated in practice. He was limited on Wednesday. Also limited were Barry Church and Malik Jackson. Both are expected to play Sunday. Stay tuned for more! Follow Jordan de Lugo on Twitter. |
