The Jaguars were without two of their four contributors at linebacker during Wednesday's practice and lost Blair Brown with an ankle injury during the practice, but the Jaguars got good news on Thursday. Both Telvin Smith (ankle), and Paul Posluszny (abdomen) returned to practice for the Jaguars on Thursday, albeit in in a limited capacity. Blair Brown remained sidelined. He is the only Jaguars player who wasn't present at Thursday's practice.

The Jaguars will lean heavily on their linebackers this week. Poz, Smith, and Myles Jack will all play a huge role in trying to slow down Le'Veon Bell in run defense. Smith will likely also be asked to cover Bell out of the backfield. Blair Brown was beginning to come into his own for the Jaguars but may be forced to miss their divisional round matchup with the Steelers. With Brown's injury the Jaguars will be very thin at linebacker, but they'll take solace just in having Smith and Poz available (assuming neither has a setback leading up to the game).

Aaron Colvin also returned practice for the Jags on Thursday. He too was limited. Colvin missed practice the day prior with an illness. He is the team's third best corner and has been a huge contributor on defense this year, establishing himself as one of the best nickel cornerbacks in football. AC is also playing for a contract, so this game will mean even more to him.

Limited in Thursday practice were CB Jalen Ramsey (ankle) and WR Jaydon Mickens (hamstring).

FB Tommy Bohanon (knee), TE Marcedes Lewis (ankle), and DT Abry Jones (ankle) were all full participants in practice after being limited Wednesday.

The Jaguars divisional round opponent, the Steelers, were without several key players in practice Thursday. DT Javon Hargrave (back), DT Stephon Tuitt (elbow), and CB Artie Burns (knee) missed practice.

Stay tuned for more.
