Jalen Ramsey arrived at Jaguars training camp Tuesday morning.
The All-Pro cornerback missed the start of training camp after the birth of his baby girl. Many fans (and some media members) had begun to fret about when Ramsey might arrive after missing the first four days of camp. While he was away from the team players and coaches alike spoke out in support of Ramsey, as they should. Ramsey was a Pro Bowler and was named First Team All-Pro. And at just 23 years old he’s already widely considered the best cornerback in football. The time missed by Ramsey shouldn’t be an issue. He missed OTAs this summer, but was back for mandatory minicamp and didn’t skip a beat. Need more assurance that his absence won't be an issue? Ramsey rarely practiced in 2017 and still turned in the most impressive season of any cornerback in pro football. This non-story turned story is finally over. The King is back in Jacksonville. |
