The Titans won't be at full strength when they come to Jacksonville in week three for Thursday Night Football. That's good news for the Jaguars, who haven't beaten the Titans in four tries since 2016.
Taylor Lewan announced via his Twitter that he's suspended for the first four games of 2019. His suspension stems from a failed drug test for the banned substance ostarine.
βThe message appears to be heartfelt, but Lewan will nonetheless miss the first four weeks of the season. The Titans' starting left tackle had his way with the Jaguars in 2018, so his absence will be a significant blow for the Titans. It will also represent a distinct advantage for the Jaguars, whose pass rushers should be ready to feast in week three. In addition to missing the Titans' week three matchup with the Jaguars, Lewan will miss week one at Cleveland, week two against Indianapolis, and week four at Atlanta.
