People are still talking about the Jaguars moving... and to St. Louis of all places? There is a lot to unpack here.

First off, let me explain the idea behind the article. It appears that the writer, Jim Thomas, has been asked by a fan or has asked himself the question (it's not clear which one is correct based on the format of the post) "Would Jacksonville consider St. Louis a destination if they don't get a new stadium?"

Where is this question coming from? The Jaguars need a new stadium? You mean the one that has the world's largest outdoor scoreboards, two pools with a breathtaking view, newly rennovated club sections, a massive party/bar area in the south endzone, a state of the art outdoor party area in the north endzone, and an ampitheatre being built right outside of it isn't good enough? Hmmm?

Whether or not this question was posed by a fan or by Jim Thomas himself, that fact is that Thomas does not do a good or even adequate job explaining the real situation with the Jaguars home at EverBank Field. The real situation is that EverBank Field is in great shape and is only getting nicer.

In Thomas' answer to the question he goes on to say:
The answer I keep getting from Jacksonville is: "No." Others I've talked to say that some in the league have doubts about the long-term viability of Jacksonville as an NFL market, and if a franchise in London is not a possibility, that Khan might consider St. Louis. But even if that took place, and admittedly it's far-fetched, it isn't something that's going to happen near-term.
Thomas writes "others I've talked to say that some in the league have doubts about the long-term viability of Jacksonville as an NFL market". I have no doubt that this statement is accurate, and am sure that there are folks within the NFL that don't have faith in Jacksonville. Thomas also admits that the Jaguars moving to St. Louis is "far-fetched". So while some of what Thomas writes in this short answer is accurate, some of what he writes is downright foolish and extremely vague. He says that some people who he has talked to say that some people that they have talked to in the league think that Khan might consider St. Louis. That is a hysterically vague statement. He basically is saying someone that I talked to says that someone that he/she talked to says this. And when Thomas writes "Khan might consider St. Louis" he really isn't saying a damn thing. Saying that someone told you that someone else might consider something, really isn't saying anything at all. If someone told you that I might consider quiting my job tomorrow, does that mean I will or I won't? No, it doesn't mean a thing.

I understand that Thomas does state that this is far fetched, but some of the language he uses makes it seem like an actual possibility that the Jaguars could be on the move, and the fact that he doesn't ever refute the part about the Jaguars needing a new stadium either shows his hometown bias or proves that he simply hasn't done enough homework himself.

This is nothing but an attention grabbing headline that has no foundation to support it.
