The NFL announced Tuesday their all new committee of social justice. The committee is currently comprised of several current and former NFL players including Kelvin Beachum (former Jaguars left tackle), Josh Norman, Josh McCown, Anquan Boldin and Aeneas Williams. Also included in the committee are several NFL owners.
Shad Khan will be one of them. Khan knows plenty of social justice and injustice. He's had personal and business experience with both as a former immigrant from Pakistan. Khan had this to say about his appointment to the committee and what he sees as the goals of the committee:
Khan and the rest of the owners and players in the committee are driven to do everything possible to ultimately make a climate of greater social justice. Other owners appointed to the committee include Arthur Blank (Atlanta), Jimmy Haslam (Cleveland), Stephen Ross (Miami), and Michael Bidwell (Arizona). The move to create this committee by the NFL is a clear and strong response to the social injustice protests by players throughout the past two seasons. Stay tuned for more.
