The Jaguars have avoided major injuries throughout voluntary OTAs. But that may have changed on Tuesday.
Rookie running back RyQyell Armstead pulled up limping following a play during Tuesday's practice session. He grabbed at the back of his leg, at what looked like his hamstring. He then went off the field and was examined by trainers. There's no word yet on the severity of the injury or if Armstead will miss further time. The rookie runner from Temple is a bit of a Leonard Fournette clone and figures to be an insurance policy for the Jaguars' oft-injured starting running back. If Armstead does miss more time, it'll likely give Alfred Blue and Thomas Rawls more reps in upcoming practices. We'll keep you updated on any further news regarding Armstead's injury. |
