The Jaguars are nearly at full strength for their Thursday practice heading into the first divisional matchup of the season against the Titans.
The only two players expected to be missing from practice are DT Abry Jones and RB Brandon Wilds, both of whom are dealing with illness. Fans should be hopeful that both will be well enough to play Sunday. The good news for the Jaguars is that everyone else practiced, including Brandon Linder (knee), TJ Yeldon (ankle), and Austin Seferian-Jenkins (core muscle). All three missed Wednesday practice. Linder is scheduled to miss every Wednesday practice for the remainder of the season to rest his knee. Yeldon injured his ankle against the Patriots and missed practice Wednesday. His return to practice Thursday is a good sign for his availability Sunday. ASJ has being dealing with a core muscle injury since the first week of the season and had't missed time in over two weeks, but it appears he should be good to go after missing practice on Wednesday. Both Yeldon and Seferian-Jenkins were key cogs in the offensive explosion against the Patriots on Sunday, so the Jaguars will be relieved that both are able to practice Thursday. Also on the injury report are RB Leonard Fournette (hamstring), OG AJ Cann (triceps) and OT Jermey Parnell (knee). Stay tuned for more! |
