The Jaguars were without two starters at practice on Wednesday. Starting TE Marcedes Lewis and starting WR Marqise Lee both missed practice with ankle injuries. Donald Payne, a reserve linebacker and special teamer, also missed Wednesday practice with a quad injury.
Lewis and Payne both returned to practice on Thursday. Marqise Lee, who missed the Jaguars final two games of the regular season, was the lone Jaguar to miss practice on Thursday. The Jags would like to have Lee back this week, especially with the poor performances from from Keelan Cole, Jaydon Mickens, and Dede Westbrook in week 17. Lee expects to play against the Bills but his status is still up in the air. Doug Marrone told the media that Lee is a player that doesn't need to practice during the week in order to play on Sunday. The Jaguars are fortunate to not have more injury concerns at this point in the season. A key element for the Jaguars offensive success this season has been the offensive line and it appears that group will be 100% on Sunday. Stay tuned for more! Follow Jordan de Lugo on Twitter. |
