The Jaguars were missing just two players when they took the practice field Wednesday in preparation for their week 10 matchup against the Chargers.
Marqise Lee, who hasn't practiced in weeks, was absent from the Jaguars practice. Lee has been dealing with a litany of injuries, this season, but has yet to miss time for the Jaguars. He'll likely be questionable all week, but once again it would be surprising if his current ailment, his knee, keeps him out in week 10. Jaguars DT Marcell Dareus, who played in his first game as a Jaguar last Sunday, was also absent at practice. Dareus missed with an undisclosed illness. Dareus isn't the type of player that needs to practice every single day to be good for game day, but his health will be something to monitor as the Jaguars navigate towards their week 10 matchup with the Chargers. The Jaguars did have several players that were limited. Arrelious Benn was limited with a groin injury. AJ Cann was limited with the triceps injury that forced him to miss the Jaguars week nine win over the Bengals. Starting left guard Patrick Omameh was limited with a knee injury. Jermey Parnell, the Jaguars starting right tackle was also limited with a knee. Jalen Ramsey was limited with a groin injury. None of these injuries are expected to hold players out of the Jaguars week ten game. |
