Leonard Fournette, who suffered a quad injury in the Jaguars win over the Seahawks, told Mike Kaye of First Coast News that he doesn't expect to miss the team's week 15 divisional matchup with the Texans.
This is good news for Leonard Fournette and the Jaguars. When Fournette is in the game and healthy the Jaguars tend to find good balance on the offensive side of the ball. He can be the team's horse and force opponents to load the box - recently when teams have done so Blake Bortles has been able to find receivers deep down the field - which is a good recipe for success on the offensive side of the ball. The Jaguars offensive line has played very well over the past two weeks, mostly thanks to the starters regaining their health. Cam Robinson could be questionable this week with a back injury, but will likely play through the injury. The offensive line has allowed just 1 sack in the Jaguars last two games. As long as Fournette's playing he's sure to see a healthy dose of action this week as the Jaguars attempt to clinch their first playoff spot since 2007. Stay tuned for more!
