Jaguars choose not to pick up Kelvin Beachum's option

The Jaguars have smartly constructed nearly every current player contract on their roster, Kelvin Beachum's included. When signing Beachum last year the Jaguars decided to build in a team option that allowed them to extend his contract after year one. The deadline for the Jaguars to pick up said option was last night at midnight. Sooooo .... Kelvin Beachum is set to become a free agent on March 9th IF the Jaguars and he cannot come to an agreement on a new deal prior to that date. My suspicion is the Jaguars will come to an agreement with Beachum prior to March 9th, but at this point no one really knows what the Jaguars are going to do about their starting left tackle.
