Jaguars second year CB Jalen Ramsey has been increasingly vocal this offseason on Twitter. He's advocated for several current Jaguars to get paid.
Now the Jaguars star defensive back is reaching out to recently released former Giants CB Domonique Rodgers-Cromartie (referred to as DRC throughout the rest of this post).
At this point it seems unlikely that the Jaguars would spend the kind of money it would cost to land DRC. But he could be a fantastic fit in Jacksonville. If he were to man the nickel spot with Jalen Ramsey and AJ Bouye on the outside the Jaguars defensive backfield could be even more dangerous in 2018. DRC has 30 career interceptions - more than anyone on the Jaguars roster. At 31 years old he could be looking for a place to go out on top. Jacksonville will certainly be an attractive place for players chasing a ring. Would you like to see the Jaguars pursue DRC? Let us know in the comments below. |
