Jalen Ramsey returns to Jaguars, team announces joint practices w/ Tampa that will be open to public5/25/2017
The Jaguars started their Organized Team Activities on Tuesday - Jalen Ramsey wasn't there. But he was in Cleveland that night sitting court side for the Cavs 13 point come from behind victory over the Boston Celtics.
Doug Marrone's comments on Ramsey being absent Tuesday made it seem as if Ramsey was not excused from practice and had not cleared it with the team, however that has not been confirmed. Missing one day of "voluntary" OTAs is far from a major story, but when it's the best player the team has drafted in seemingly a decade people start to get nervous. Jalen returned to the team after his short absence and all became right in the world. Ramsey shared his thoughts for everyone who had something negative to say about the situation on his twitter:
On another note the Jaguars announced they will play host to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers prior to their preseason game in August. This is the second set of joint practices the Jaguars have confirmed for this preseason as the team will take on the Patriots head to head for a couple of practices the week before they host the Buccaneers.
The two practices will be held Monday 8/14 and Tuesday 8/15 - both will be open to the public.
