JALEN RAMSEY OPENS UP ABOUT SUNDAY EJECTION, FOURNETTE TALKS DEACTIVATION

Two of the Jaguars biggest stars talk about the situations that led them to miss time during Sunday's game.

The Jaguars were without two of their very best players for the majority of their win over the Bengals Sunday. Prior to the game Leonard Fournette was deactivated by head coach Doug Marrone for a violation of team rules - apparently he was late to a team function. For the supremely talented CB Jalen Ramsey it was an unwarranted ejection that cost him the entire second half of the Jaguars win. 

Wednesday afternoon both players talked to the media about their respective situations.

Fournette had this to say about being deactivated for the game:

Fournette says missing Sunday’s game was aggravating, says it was a miscommunication with him and #Jaguars and won’t happen again.

When Ramsey spoke to the media, he had quite a bit to say:

Jalen Ramsey clarified that nothing personal was brought up in trash talk with AJ Green. He talked about his game, said he was soft and that his time was running out. #Jaguars

Ramsey said he didn't defend himself because he didn't want to be ejected. He said Marrone told him that the ref told the HC that they thought the CB threw a punch. He did not. He doesn't think he will be fined. #Jaguars

Both players will be able to participate fully in practice this week and will be active against the Chargers in week 10.
