Perhaps the three biggest names on the defensive side of the ball returned to practice for the Jaguars Saturday morning.
AJ Bouye had been out for a little under a week and missed the Jaguars first preseason contest of 2017. Calais Campbell had been sidelined for the better part of training camp with an unspecified lower body injury. Jalen Ramsey had missed all of training camp up to this point following an offseason core muscle surgery. All three are now back with the team and will be ready to go for joint practices between the Jaguars and the Buccaneers that start this Monday. All three players could see their first game action of the preseason on Thursday night when the Jaguars host the Buccaneers at EverBank Field. The game will be televised nationally on ESPN. Jalen Ramsey, the team's number one CB, still isn't participating in team drills as the Jaguars ease him into practice. The Jaguars haven't yet been able to see what their defense looks like with all of the pieces in place, but this week they'll get a closer look. Of course, the team's starting nickel corner back Aaron Colvin still hasn't been removed from the PUP list. What could be the most talented defense in football is beginning to take shape.
