The Jaguars are coming off a heartbreaking overtime loss to the Jets. This week they'll head to Pittsburgh to take on the high octane Steelers offense, but they may be without some key pieces. Let's take a look:
QB Blake Bortles, Right Wrist, Full Participant WR Jealen Strong, Hamstring, Limited WR Marqise Lee, Ribs, DNP CB Jalen Ramsey, Ankle, Limited SS Jarrod Wilson, Shoulder, DNP RB Leonard Fournette, Ankle, Limited FB Tommy Bohanan, Knee, Limited LB Donald Payne, Hamstring, Full Participant LB Lerentee McCray, Knee, Limited RG AJ Cann, Hand, Limited C Brandon Linder, Knee, DNP DT Malik Jackson, Groin, Limited It's never good to see your two most dynamic players on the injury report, but Jalen Ramsey and Leonard Fournette both figure to be okay when the Jaguars take on the Steelers this Sunday. The Jaguars best interior offensive lineman, Brandon Linder, has been dealing with a knee injury for much of the season and couldn't go on Wednesday, but not because of his knee - Linder missed practice with an illness. The Jaguars number one receiver Marqise Lee is dealing with a rib injury sustained in the loss to the Jets - he will be a key player to monitor throughout the week. If Lee is unable to go the already stagnant Jaguars offense could get even uglier on Sunday. On a positive note Lerentee McCray, who is one of the Jaguars best backups and a core special teamer returned to practice as did WR Jealen Strong, who could make his Jaguars debut in Pittsburgh. |
