The Jaguars have waived injured offensive guard Brandon Thomas from their PUP list and signed offensive lineman Michael Dunn.
If Thomas goes through waivers unclaimed on Wednesday he will revert to the Jaguars inured reserve list. Thomas, 27, has yet to play in an NFL game, despite being drafted by the 49ers in the third round of the 2015 NFL Draft. He was traded by the 49ers to the Lions in 2016. The Lions released Thomas is September of 2017. The Jaguars then signed him to their practice squad in October and subsequently released him the next month, only to sign him again within the week. The Jaguars singed Thomas to a reserve/futures contract in January of 2018 and he'd been with the team ever since. Michael Dunn, 23, is an offensive tackle that stands 6'5'' tall and weighs in at 300 lbs. Dunn was an undrafted rookie in 2017 out of Maryland and signed with the Rams in February of 2018, but was since released. He'll now have a shot to make it on the Jaguars practice squad. |
