The Jaguars will be facing a severely depleted Vikings team that has lost their starting QB, RB, multiple starting offensive tackles, and severl other key positions, and now the Vikings look to be without the heart and soul of their defense, Pro Bowl Safety Harrison Smith.

The Jaguars are not without injury concerns of their own this week.

They will be without backup free safety and special teamer Peyton Thompson (ankle), starting wide receiver Allen Hurns (hamstring), defensive end Jared Odrick (shoulder), backup running back Denard Robinson (ankle), and starting tight end Julius Thomas (back). To fill the void at safety Josh Johnson will be active and will be the Jaguars fourth safety on the depth chart and will help out on special teams. Now that Rashad Greene is on IR and Allen Hurns has been ruled out again the Jaguars will look to the dimunutive Shane Wynn to help spark the receiving game along with all the other usual suspects. Jared Odick has been out for some time, so the Jaguars should be fine replacing him at defensive end. Denard Robinson being ruled out could spell trouble for the Jaguars while TJ Yeldon and Chris Ivory have been nursing injuries of their own as of late. Ben Koyack and Neal Sterling will continue to see an expanded role with Julius Thomas being ruled out again.

There are also several key players listed as questionable for the Jags. Dan Skuta, who has missed his fair share of time this year, has been limited all week and would appear to be ready to go. Brandon Linder has also been extremely limited, but is a guy who should be good to go come Sunday because how he get's in his "mental reps". Chris Ivory, as I mentioned before has been dealing with a hamstring injury of his own and has been limited all week. Hopefully he will be able to carry the load for the Jaguars on Sunday, but if he isn't able to then Bronson Hill could be promoted from the practice squad to fill the void.
