One of the Jaguars 2014 5th round picks, Chris Smith, has been traded to the Bengals for a conditional draft pick in 2018. Beyond that the details are not known.
Smith was originally draft by the Jaguars out of Arkansas as a developmental pass rusher. Smith has shown flashed and certainly hasn't been a liability when on the field, but he never really developed into what the Jaguars had hoped. His lack of development certainly wasn't helped by the recent additions of Dante Fowler Jr. and Yannick Ngakoue. The Jaguars now have five defensive ends on their roster. Expect that number to be larger by the end of day two of the upcoming NFL Draft.
