The Jaguars have been digging the teal this year. And it's hard to blame them - their teal alternate uniforms are by far the most eye catching and iconic option for the Jaguars. The team announced on Wednesday that they would don the teal uniforms for the second time this season when they play the Seattle Seahawks on December 17th. When the Jaguars wore the teal uniforms earlier in the season it was the first time the team had worn the teal jerseys since 2012.
There's clearly a shift here to teal. It's been long rumored that the Jaguars are planning on changing their uniforms entirely after the 2017 season and that teal will be much more involved in the team's regular uniforms. This is exciting news for a fan base that bleeds teal. Even more exciting is that the game against the Seahawks has been flexed from a 1pm kickoff to 4:25 - a time slot that will generate much more viewership and allow the team, the fans, and the stadium to be seen on a much bigger stage. Stay tuned for more Jaguars updates! |
