Mike Nolan is set to interview with the Jags as the Linebackers coach. Nolan has a long history of football experience, including four years as Head Coach of the 49ers from 2005 into the first seven games of 2008. He had his first NFL job in 1987, as Special Teams Coach of the Denver Broncos. Nolan has held the Defensive Coordinator position for an astonishing seven different NFL franchises. His most recent coaching job was as the LB Coach of the Chargers, a job he held for just a single season in 2015. He was not employed by a team during 2016, however he did work as an analyst for NFL Network. If Jacksonville could snag Nolan, he would bring an impressive resume and football mind to the defensive meeting room.
