It's been rumored for months that the Jaguars would be changing their uniforms prior to the 2018 season. Now, according to a report from Mark Long, it's official.
The much maligned two tone helmets will be a thing of the past. Later on in this same thread Long mentions that he's being told the helmets will go back to all black. The far less criticized uniforms are also set to be replaced according to Long. There's expected to be more teal in the uniforms, confirming a rumor that has been swirling for months. When Shad Khan took over the team he wanted to focus more on the black and gold colors, but he quickly realized that Duval is all about the teal. Just a few years after introducing these uniforms they will be replaced. The current rendition of the Jaguars uniforms was worn from 2013-2017. It's likely that the uniforms will be introduced prior to the draft, so if there is a player drafted by the Jaguars in the first round who is actually attending the draft, they'll be able to show off the Jaguars new jersey.
