The Jaguars all time leader in receptions, yards, and TDs amongst tight ends may have played his last down as a Jaguar. Lewis was placed on IR this week and will be out for the rest of the season. The aging TE has a couple of years left on his contract, but with what will be a new head coach and possibly a new general manager in 2017, Lewis may never don the black and teal again.
The Jaguars got hit hard with injuries in week 11 and Patrick Omameh was one of the victims. A former reserve turned starter, the loss of Omameh will place the much maligned Jaguars offensive line in an even deeper hole for the rest of the season. Josh Wells was promoted from the practice squad to the active roster to take Omameh's vacant roster spot.
People around the NFL are questioning the officiating more and more. Rex Ryan becomes the latest.
