Did the Jacksonville Jaguars "win" the offseason?
According to blastingnews.com the answer is yes. This article isn't very in depth and probably doesn't give you any insight that you don't already know, but it does raise an interesting question that we won't definitively know the answer to for some time. It is fun to speculate though . . . So, did the Jags win the offseason?
What is the weakest area of the Jags roster heading into camp?
Nathaniel Rutherford says it's the O-line and the strong safety position. Not much argument there, Sample or Cyprien must prove that they deserve the starting job this year or there could be wholesale changes at SS after 2016. The offensive line must improved for the Jags offense to take the next step.
Did the Jags pay too much for Tashaun Gipson?
According to Pro Football Focus the answer is a resounding yes. But not so fast! Gipson's deal is a "prove it deal". A deal that gets more valuable if Gipson performs on the field. And even if he does perform and earns all the non guaranteed money in the 5 year $36 million deal, isn't that what the Jags want?
