Thanks to the Steelers win in Pittsburgh over the Titans on Thursday night the Jaguars are now in first place in the AFC South. All by themselves. They say it's lonely at the top, but Jaguars fans haven't felt this in nearly a decade - nor has the front office, coaching staff, or players. For the first time in Shad Khan's tenure as the Jaguars owner he can look out at his team on game day and be proud.

With the easiest remaining schedule in the NFL, the Jaguars still play the Browns, Colts, Texans, Cardinals, and 49ers. Each of those is a game the Jaguars should win with ease. Still, there are no gimmes in the NFL.

They start with Cleveland this Sunday. The Jaguars first cold weather game of 2017 is exciting for some, and not so exciting for others. The Jaguars head coach, originally from New York is a huge fan of the cold weather, but a certain running back from the South that goes by Fournette isn't too excited about the weather - he said every hit hurts a little more. Fortunately for Fournette it works both ways. He should be ready to pound the Browns defense into submission if weather makes it difficult for the Jaguars to air out the ball.

With a win over the Browns the Jaguars will improve to 7-3. They'll stay atop the AFC South -- all by themselves. And they'll also be third in the entire AFC setting them up for a potential home playoff game and perhaps even a first round bye. The Steelers and Patriots are the two teams in front of the Jaguars right now. Guess what?! They play each other on December 17th. The loser of that game would have at least three losses. If the Steelers were to lose that game and the Jaguars keep winning the games they are supposed to win then the Jaguars could be in position to overtake the Steelers in the standings. If the two teams have the same record the tie breaker goes to the Jaguars because they beat the Steelers head to head.

Stay tuned for what is sure to be a fun ride!
