The Jaguars have signed former Chiefs WR Chris Conley.
Originally drafted in 2015 out of Georgia, Conley lit up the combine, running a 4.35 and posting an insane 45" vert. But his career hasn't quite taken off the way the Chiefs expected when they selected him with the 76th overall pick in the draft. Conley has played in all sixteen games in three of his four professional seasons, but hasn't always put up the numbers one would expect from such a gifted athlete. Over his last three season Conley hauled in an impressive 87 of his 137 targets, good for a 63.5% catch rate. For the Jaguars, he'll likely jump in the mix on the outside. His speed, length, and leaping ability could make him an impressive intermediate to vertical threat in Jacksonville. Are you encouraged by this signing? Let us know in the comments below! |
