The Jaguars have signed CB Stanley Jean-Baptiste to complete their 90 man roster. Jean-Baptiste was originally a second round pick by the Saints in 2014 after starring at Nebraska in college. He played his high school ball in Miami. He's spent time in the NFL with the Saints, Lions, Chiefs, Seahawks and now Jaguars. Despite having perhaps the best trio of CBs in the entire league the Jaguars were exceptionally weak in terms of depth at the CB position. They're also dealing with injury at the moment. Both Jalen Ramsey and Aaron Colvin will start training camp on the PUP list. The addition of Jean-Baptiste will help sure up the back end of the position during training camp and Jean-Baptiste could even carve out a spot as the teams sixth CB if he impresses. Stanley Jean-Baptiste stands 6'3'' tall and weighs in at 215 lbs. At only 27 years of age this formerly well thought of DB could still carve out a niche in this league, but he'll need to make an impression soon. Like the signing? Hate it?
