Earlier today the Jaguars opened up ticket sales to their home wildcard game that will take place on either January 6th or 7th at a time to be determined. The Jaguars won't find out who their opponent is until Sunday and their time slot will be announced Sunday evening.
Despite not knowing who or when the Jaguars will play their first home playoff game in nearly 20 years, fans have responded in a big way. Season ticket holders had the option to opt in to playoff tickets for several weeks, but the general public was unable to purchase playoff tickets until Wednesday at 3pm. Within an hour of the Jaguars releasing tickets to the general public the team announced that they were sold out of all of the available tickets. From a franchise that struggled to fill their stadium for much of the last fifteen years to a franchise that sells out a home playoff game in less than an hour - the Jaguars and their fan base have come a long way.
