With transcendent quarterback Trevor Lawrence, speedy running back Travis Etienne, and cornerback Tyson Campbell already in the fold, the Jaguars selected offensive tackle Walker Little from Stanford with the 45th overall pick in the 2021 NFL Draft. The former Cardinal hasn't played football since week one of the 2019 season. But during the 2018 campaign, Little showed some flashes of star potential as a pass protector. The 22-year-old offensive lineman has a ways to go in terms of development, thanks in large part to an ACL injury in 2019 and opting out due to COVID in 2020. Little adds talent to the offensive tackle group, and gives the Jaguars added flexibility after the 2021 season. Starting left tackle Cam Robinson is playing under the franchise tag in 2021, and starting right tackle Jawaan Taylor failed to show improvement during his second season as a pro in 2020.
The Jaguars' remaining needs are at safety, tight end, defensive tackle, and defensive end. Their remaining picks are at 65, 106, 130, 145, 170, and 249. Follow Jordan on Twitter |
