Second-year right tackle Jawaan Taylor and first-year offensive lineman Ryan Pope have both been placed on the Jaguars' Reserve/COVID-19 list.

Taylor is the team's starting right tackle, while Pope is a depth player fighting to make the roster or practice squad, which has expanded from ten to 16 players.

They join rookies DT DaVon Hamilton, CB Josiah Scott, CB Luq Barcoo, and OL Tre'Vour Wallace-Sims on the Reserve/COVID-19 list.

The inclusion of a player on the Reserve/COVID-19 list does not necessarily indicate a positive test but could result from that player being in close proximity with someone displaying symptoms or testing positive for COVID-19.

Josiah Scott addressed his addition to the list on Monday, clarifying that he's received multiple negative tests since receiving what he calls a "false positive" last week. So, Scott, who figures to be a primary backup at nickel, should be good to go in the coming days.

Players will return from the Reserve/COVID-19 in accordance with the guidelines set forth by the NFL and NFLPA.

Jaguars' veterans reported to camp on Tuesday, and these were the only COVID related roster moves made by the team on Tuesday.

Rookie fullback Connor Slomka was removed from the non-football injury list after passing his physical on Tuesday.

The Jaguars also claimed offensive lineman Garret McGhim off waivers from Buffalo. McGhin is a Tallahassee native. He went undrafted and signed with the Bills in 2019. The Panthers signed him to their practice squad in November. He played in two games with Carolina prior to hitting the IR in December with an ankle injury.

On-field training for veterans is expected to begin on Monday, August 3rd, while rookies have already begun to participate in on-walkthroughs and conditioning.

Stay tuned for more.
