In an unsurprising move the Jaguars have released left guard Zane Beadles.
Beadles was signed by the team two years ago and was expected to be an upgrade on the interior of the Jaguars offensive line. Unfortunately for Beadles and the Jags things didn't pan out that way. The Jaguars drafted his replacement last year in A.J. Cann and now have decided it's time to end their relationship with Beadles, who was nominated for NFL Man of the Year last season. While Beadles may be the man off the field, he certainly wasn't the man at left guard for the Jags. This move will free up about $5.5 million for the Jags who already had almost $80 million in cap space. Look for the Jaguars to bolster their interior line in free agency or the draft.
