The Jaguars have several key players on the injury report this week, but thankfully for the Jaguars a couple of stars returned to practice Thursday. Here's the full injury report:

JAGUARS

QB Blake Bortles, Wrist, Full Participant
WR Jaelen Strong, Hamstring, DNP
CB Jalen Ramsey, Ankle, Full
LB Myles Jack, Ankle, Limited
LB Donald Payne, Hamstring, DNP
LB Lerentee McCray, Knee, DNP
C Brandon Linder, Knee, Limited
LT Cam Robinson, Shoulder, Full
DT Abry Jones, Limited, Groin
DT Malik Jackson, Limited, Groin

DNP = Did Not Participate

The only newcomer here is DT Abry Jones, who is working through a groin injury. Despite being a late week add to the injury list it doesn't appear that he's in jeopardy of missing the Jaguars contest with the Jets. The real news here is that Jalen Ramsey and Malik Jackson both returned to practice in a limited capacity. Ramsey hadn't practiced since prior to the start of the regular season. Jackson began dealing with the groin injury last week, but seems to be managing just fine. Everyone else of note on this here list is expected to play. If LBs Donald Payne and Lerentee McCray are unable to go the Jaguars depth at LB will be a question mark in their upcoming matchup with the Jets.

JETS

On the Jets side of things there are some significant injuries. Matt Forte is unlikely to play this weekend with turf toe, but he did give it a go in the early stages of Thursday's practice. The aging RB isn't what he once was, but he is still a player the Jets rely upon. The biggest storyline to watch here is Mo Wilkerson's shoulder injury. Wilkerson is one of the better defensive lineman in football when he's right. He missed his second consecutive practice, but it still appears he'll try to push through the pain and play Sunday. Defensive End Kony Ealy was absent for a second straight practice, but doesn't appear injured. He was excused from Wednesday's practice.
