According to Ryan O'Halloran, the Jaguars interviewed Lou Anarumo today for their vacant defensive coordinator position. There is no word yet on how the interview went or if there is a potential agreement in the works. I personally think Gus should bring in someone who is the DC in title only and Gus should be the one calling plays as the 2016 season will be his last ditch effort to save his job -- Gus should do what Gus does best and that is coach up the defense.
Anarumo, who spent the better part of the 2015 season as the Dolphins Interim Defensive Coordinator, has been in Miami since 2012. Prior to joining the Dolphins he had stops at Purdue, Marshall, and Harvard. Anarumo has no NFL experience as a Defensive Coordinator. |
