The Jaguars enter week 13 coming off a bitter defeat to Blaine Gabbert and the Cardinals. The Jaguars were favored to win that game and even after the loss are still 7-4, tied for first place in the AFC South.
There are no gimmes in the NFL. The Jaguars week 12 loss to the Cardinals, who were ravaged by injuries, proved that. Hopefully the Jaguars learned their lesson, after taking Blain Gabbert and the Cardinals offense way, way too lightly. But the Jaguars matchup with the Colts is as close to a guarantee as you can get in the NFL. The Colts simply don't have the talent to compete with the Jaguars for 60 minutes. The Jaguars are favored by 10.5 points over their division rivals in this one. The Jaguars haven't been a double digit favorite in a decade. The last time they were favored by so much? 2007 - also the last time the Jaguars made the playoffs. The Jaguars have earned the right to be favored by so much. They beat the Colts 27-0 in week seven and that was in Indy. Now the Jaguars get to take on the Colts in front of their home crowd at EverBank Field. It's sure to be raucous environment.
