The Jaguars are favored by three points in their 2018 season opener against the New York Giants on Sunday.
While three points might seem low to some, it's actually a decent margin, especially when you factor in that the Jaguars are the road team. Home teams generally are given three points. Still, chances are the Jaguars will win by more than three points. The team is arguably more talented than they were last year when they outscored their opponents by an average of nearly 10 points per game. With OBJ and Saquon Barkley primed and ready for the 2018 season the Giants are certainly in a better position to be successful than they were in 2017, when they finished with a record of just 3-13. But after a long offseason the Jaguars are chomping at the bit to show that they are much more than one year wonders and are true contenders for the Lombardi trophy. What do you think? Should the Jaguars be favored by more than three points on the road against the Giants? |
