The Jaguars were without two of their biggest stars for most of the team's ten voluntary OTA sessions held earlier this summer. Star CB Jalen Ramsey missed all of the Jaguars OTA's electing instead to workout with his father, who has been a major reason for the development of his playing style and swagger throughout his career. The Jaguars second year RB, who scored three touchdowns in the team's divisional round playoff victory against the Steelers and earned a spot in the NFL's Top 100 players as a rookie, was in attendance for the Jaguars first voluntary OTA, but was absent from the following nine sessions due to what was called by his head coach "a personal situation".
While it was never a major concern that either player would miss mandatory workouts, it's certainly a major positive that now that the time has come for mandatory minicamp that the Jaguars two young stars are back in Duval. Again, this news shouldn't come as a surprise. But it is good news nonetheless. Stay tuned for more! |
