The Jaguars Wednesday pre practice injury report is here!
The big story here is that Leonard Fournette is expected to return to practice, but we'll get to that later. Expected to miss practice: RB TJ Yeldon (ankle), RB Brandon Wilds (illness), C Brandon Linder (knee), TE Austin Seferian-Jenkins (core muscle injury) TJ Yeldon was the Jaguars primary running back last week in their victory over the Patriots. His absence in practice is less worrisome with the return of Leonard Fournette. The Jaguars fourth RB Brandon Wilds is also expected to miss practice with an illness. Starting Center Brandon Linder is set to miss Wednesday practice, as he is expected to every week, but he should be fine to play on Sunday barring a setback. Also expected to miss practice is TE Austin Seferian-Jenkins. His core muscle injury held him out of a practice leading up to week one, but he hasn't missed a practice since. The hope here is that the Jaguars are giving him a day off and letting rim rest rather than a more serious aggravation of the injury. ASJ has been a big addition for the Jaguars in 2018 and has been one of their more reliable offensive weapons. There are three Jaguars that have injuries listed that are expected to participate in practice: RB Leonard Fournette (hamstring), OG AJ Cann (triceps), OL Jermey Parnell (knee). Barring any setbacks all three should be ready to play Sunday in the Jaguars first divisional matchup against the Titans. As I stated earlier, the big news here is the return of Leonard Fournette. The Jaguars offense was fantastic without him last week, but their best chance to win on a week to week basis is with Leonard Fournette in the lineup. |
