The Jaguars head into their week four matchup with the Jets fresh off one of the worst offensive performances in franchise history. Tied for the division lead at 2-1, the Jaguars need a win to make sure they keep pace in the AFC South. Especially with a two game road trip that includes a trip to Arrowhead looming.

Starting Nickel CB DJ Hayden has been ruled out with a toe injury. Earlier in the week Doug Marrone said that Hayden would be week to week and on Friday the veteran corner was seen in a walking boot. The Jaguars will miss Hayden - despite being a question mark entering the season he's been one of the most consistent performers on the defensive side of the ball for the Jaguars - but his replacement, Tyler Patmon, is more than serviceable and has the ability to make plays from the nickel spot. This may also lead to a higher snap count for rookie safety Ronnie Harrison.

Questionable for the matchup are Leonard Fournette (hamstring) and AJ Cann (triceps).

Fournette hasn't played a down since the second quarter of the Jaguars season opening victory over the Giants. He's practiced throughout the week and was a full participant in practice on Friday. It seems plausible that he could make his return this week after showing no ill effects throughout the final practice session, but hamstring injuries can be a tricky thing and the Jaguars would be wise not to put Leonard Fournette on the field until he's fully healed.

AJ Cann missed the Jaguars week three loss to the Titans with a triceps injury. He suffered the same injury in 2017, which led to him missing one game. He's hopeful that things will be the same this time around and made it clear that he hopes to play Sunday. Cann was a full participant in practice Friday. If he's unable to go Sunday Josh Reed will fill in at right guard.

These are the only three players listed as questionable or ruled out. That means TJ Yeldon is ready to go. His presence is vital, especially if Fournette ends up being ruled out.

Several players that missed or were limited in practice earlier in the week will play. That list includes DE Calais Campbell (ankle), K Josh Lambo (hip), C Brandon Linder (knee), RT Jermey Parnell (Knee), and TE Austin Seferian-Jenkins (core muscle).
