![]() The Jaguars General Manager, Dave Caldwell has interest in Greg Jennings. Jennings is an aging free agent wide receiver who at one point in his career, was considered one of the top wideouts in the NFL. Last season, in Minnesota, he was able to catch 59 balls for 742 yards and 6 touchdowns. Most people would scoff at signing the aging Jennings, who will be 32 in September, yet he could provide the Jaguars some value. Jennings, purely based on last years stats, would provide an immediate upgrade. In addition, he would be able to play in the slot so that Robinson, Lee, and Hurns could focus on playing outside. He provides veteran leadership and wisdom that the Jaguars receiving group severely lacks at this point. It may be a long shot, but if Jennings can be had at the right price, It seems like a move that would help the Jaguars on the field and in the locker room, yet have almost no risk. What do you think, DUVAL? |
