The Jaguars have had one of the top defenses in football over the last three seasons. The lowest the famed "Sacksonville" defense has finished in that time span in total defense is sixth (2016). But as good as Jacksonville has been in recent years on the defensive side of the ball, they still haven't taken the top spot in total defense.
Daniel Jeremiah of NFL Network thinks that will change in 2019.
It's hard to argue with his pick. The Jaguars defense is loaded with as much talent on the defensive line and in the cornerback room as any team in recent memory. The linebacker room, led by Myles Jack, has a ton of athleticism, even if their experience is lacking.
As talented as the defense is, they'll need the offense to be able to stay on the field a bit more in 2019 to reach their full potential. Do you think the Jaguars defense has what it takes to finish on top in 2019? Let us know in the comments below. Follow Jordan on Twitter. |
