It's Friday - that means the Jaguars official injury designations for the week are in.
Three starting offensive lineman are listed as questionable for the Jaguars as they prepare to take on one of the most disruptive pass rushes in football. Starting RG AJ Cann, starting LG Patrick Omameh, and starting RT Jermey Parnell are listed as questionable. All three participated in practice this week, albeit in a limited capacity. Parnell and Omameh are both battling knee injuries. Both played in the Jaguars week nine victory over the Bengals. If either miss the game the Jaguars will be forced to do some shuffling on the offensive line - something the Jaguars have done with success to this point in the season. AJ Cann is battling a triceps injury that held him out of the Jaguars week 10 game, but he too participated in practice in a limited capacity this week. If he can't go the Jaguars may opt to leave Brandon Linder at RG and continue starting Tyler Shatley at Center. Again, the Jaguars have proven capable of shuffling offensive lineman around and still getting quality play, but they would like to be at full strength against Joey Bosa, Melvin Ingram and Co. The only other player with the questionable designation this week is Marqise Lee. With the Jaguars lack of depth at WR Lee is a shoe-in to play. He's been questionable almost every week this year, but has toughed it out and been the Jaguars most effective receiver for much of the season. |
