Steelers WR Antonio Brown, who missed the last two weeks of the regular season with a calf injury, returned to practice this week and was set to be "100%" heading into the divisional round of the playoffs.
Brown was sent home from Steelers practice on Friday with an undisclosed illness. The extent of this illness is not yet known, nor is his status for Sunday, when the Jaguars travel to Pittsburgh looking for their second win at Heinz Field this season. Brown was the Steelers most effective offensive weapon against the Jaguars when the two team's faced off in week five. Jacksonville CBs Jalen Ramsey and AJ Bouye took turns covering the Steelers ace receiver. Despite a lopsided victory for the Jaguars, Brown racked up 10 catches for 157 yards on the day. If Brown is unable to play it will give the Jaguars "Sacksonville" defense a huge leg up in the matchup. Stay tuned for more. Follow Jordan de Lugo on Twitter. |
