As lucky as the Jaguars were with injuries in 2017, the opposite can be said for 2018.
After a complete dismantling at the hands of the Chiefs last week, the Jaguars will be without eight players to start their week of practice in preparation for their road matchup with the Cowboys. CB DJ Hayden (toe), RB Leonard Fournette (hamstring), CB Tre Herndon (hamstring), C Brandon Linder (knee), G Andrew Norwell (foot), T Josh Wells (groin), and DT Malik Jackson (back) are all expected to MISS practice Wednesday. Also on the pre practice injury report are T Jermey Parnell (knee), DE Yannick Ngakoue (shoulder), and DE Calais Campbell (ankle). Josh Wells, Leonard Fournette, and DJ Hayden have all been ruled out against the Cowboys. Tre Herndon may end up in the same boat, but we will wait for an update on that. The hope is that Linder and Norwell will return before the end of the week. The extent of Malik Jackson's injury is unclear at this point. Stay tuned for more information as we move through the week. |
