The Jaguars have dealt with far more injuries in 2018 than they did in 2017, but on Thursday the team got some good news.
No, star running back Leonard Fournette is not returning to the lineup, but three other starters are. All three are still listed on the injury report, but will participate, to some extent, in practice Thursday. Brandon Linder, who missed Wednesday's practice with his usual rest day, will be back in uniform Thursday. He's been dealing with a knee injury all season long. Andrew Norwell, who was seen in a walking boot Wednesday, is set to return to the practice field for the Jaguars. The All-Pro guard is a much needed piece to the offensive line. His foot injury doesn't appear to be serious. Malik Jackson, who missed practice with a back injury, is also back in action. He's one of the key pieces to the vaunted Jaguars D-Line and would be sorely missed if he were forced out of the lineup this weekend when the Jaguars take on the Cowboys. And for the not so good news . . . Leonard Fournette (hamstring), Tre Herndon (hamstring), DJ Hayden (toe), and Josh Wells (groin) are still out for the Jaguars. The only player amongst them who has not been ruled out for week six is Herndon. Yannick Ngakoue (shoulder), Calais Campbell (ankle), and Jermey Parnell (knee) are all featured on the pre practice injury update, but are expected to participate in practice Thursday. Stay tuned for more! |
